Description of Allandale Cottage: Welcome to Allandale Cottage in the peaceful little village of Urquhart, five miles from the cathedral city of Elgin. We offer comfortable and friendly bed and breakfast accommodation in our cosy traditional Scottish cottage.

We are not a big, commercial concern – we just love providing hospitality! We offer an attractive double room plus use of a guest lounge with open fire. Because there are no other guests staying at the same time as you, we can really spoil you and do everything possible to ensure that your stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.

Allandale Cottage is non-smoking and vegetarian and we are happy to cater for special diets (e.g. gluten-free, vegan) if you can give us a few days’ notice. All our tea and coffee is fairly traded and we buy fair trade and organic ingredients wherever possible.

We offer delicious continental breakfasts, including croissants, home made bread and toast, freshly squeezed orange juice, home made marmalade, a wide selection of cereals and muesli and our own special porridge recipe. Breakfast can be brought on a tray to your room if you’re planning a lazy morning.
