Close to Assam House is Pannet Park and Whitby museum and art gallery, within a few minutes walk is Whitby harbour, beach, shops and Whitbys unique historic streets with unusual gift shops, cafes, bars and cosy restaurants.

Unlike most guest houses and B&Bs in Whitby there is always ample parking outside Assam House, we offer full ensuites with shower or with bath, ironing available, vegetarians catered for, none of our rooms are above first floor.
