Birch Cottage is on the A835 road from Inverness to Ullapool, and is ideal for munro-baggers with Glen Affric, Torridon, the Ullapool Hills, the Fannichs and Ben Wyvis all quite close by. There are many walks, big birds, fishing, gardens and castles, and beautiful scenic circular drives allowing you to come back for a great meal in the evening. Packed lunches can be arranged. Close to the station, Garve is on the historic 'Kyle' line, which runs from Inverness to the Kyle of Lochalsh, picking up at Garve. We are close to Plockton, Applecross, the falls of Shin, Ullapool, Loch Ness and Rogie Falls, Culloden Battlefield and the Black Isle - there is plenty to see and do. Golf, fishing.
