Description of Distillery Guest House: We would like to share with you our exciting new 5 Star Luxury self-catering cottage Woodhowe Cottage in Roy Bridge, just 11 miles north of Fort William, 8 miles from Nevis Range Resort. The property has 3 bedrooms, sleeping six. One king four poster bed, two superkings or twin rooms, a perfect honeymoon retreat. Featuring a television room with 42inch plasma, playstation 2 and a spacious family room with lounge/dining and kitchen. Decking outside on which to take in the beautiful views, including a covered deck area with gas barbecue for all weather. This wonderful property has panoramic views of Aanoch Mhor and Nevis Range across the meetings of the River Roy and Spean, one of the best white water canoeing sites in Scotland stunning outlook to Aonach Mor (1219m) and the hills beyond - Stob Coire Easan (1081m) and Stob Coire Claurigh (1176m) The view is unrivalled especially on sunny days with the snow capped mountains of the Nevis Range. This property has not to be missed if you are planning a holiday to The Outdoor Capital. Roy Bridge is the perfect base for exploring the Highlands, with many outdoor activities right on the doorstep from mountain biking, fishing, walking and climbing to lazy river walks to name just a few! Roybridge is a quiet village just 3 miles from Spean Bridge and 11 miles from Fort William. We are under 15 minutes drive from the mountain gondola on Aonach Mor. In summer the gondola provides mountain bikers with access to one of the worlds most exhilarating downhill rides. In winter, it gives skiers and snowboarders quick access to the mountains upper slopes.We are also within easy reach of beauty spots such as Glen Roy, with its ice-age parallel roads, Glen Nevis, Loch Ness, Loch Lochy and the Caledonian Canal.
