Glenalmond House

Description of Glenalmond House: Glenalmond House is a privately owned family run guest house situated on the south side of Edinburgh just five minutes away by bus from the City Centre. With ample private parking and an excellent bus and taxi service right to the front door this makes the ideal base from which to explore Edinburgh.

Recently refurbished to a very high standard by the new owners (December 2007), Glenalmond House has 10 bedrooms, all en-suite. There is a large private car park available for guests and we provide Wi-Fi free of charge. The breakfast menu is extensive, including the traditional Scottish breakfast and many vegetarian options. We are a totally non-smoking guest house. There are 5 rooms on the ground floor and 5 rooms on the first floor. The room types available are single, double, twin, triple and quadruple. There are three deluxe rooms, which are larger and have beautiful Queen Anne 4-poster king-size bed, or king-size ornately carved Rococco bed. These rooms are also equipped with a comfortable seating area and large digital TV.
