Description of Mountbatten Centre: The Mount Batten Centre, the South West's premier waterside venue specialising in sailing, watersports and adventurous activities in Plymouth, a historic and vibrant maritime city in south Devon.

We have 23 rooms offering comfortable accommodation for up to 53 people therefore ideal for residential activity packages, groups and also suitable for conferencing guests or simply a competitively priced break. Make the most of our facilities on site and extend your stay in Plymouth.

Our four en-suite rooms (twin, double, triple and family rooms) have a TV and tea & coffee making facilities. These rooms are also suitable for disabled guests. Our cabin style bunk rooms sleep up to three guests and have a hand basin along with excellent shower facilities on each floor. All rooms come with fresh bed linen and most benefit from stunning water and landscape views.

New for 2008 we are pleased to be part of the YHA (Youth Hostelling Association) offering travellers good quality accommodation.

In addition to overnight accommodation for the disabled, the Centre has been carefully designed to facilitate wheelchair access to the rooms, toilets and showers make staying at the Centre so much easier.

The main lift of the Centre connects all floors, so getting around is not a problem. Also the en-suite rooms have been designed to be particularly suited to the disabled.


The Centre is fully compliant with all fire legislation and special arrangements are available for disabled guests. Twenty-four hour permanent security cover includes closed circuit television, providing particular reassurance for parents of our younger guests.

We regret that dogs are not permitted.
