To the South you can see right down Rough Firth, past Glen Isle and the yacht moorings at Kippford, to Horse Isles Bay and to the North you can see up the meandering estuary to Palnackie and North Glen. Red squirrels, badgers and deer are regular visitors and the area is teeming with woodland and wetland birds. At night the calls of Oystercatchers and Curlews settling down to roost float evocatively across the water and Tawny Owls come out to hunt in Gibb’s Hole Woods.It is the ideal holiday cottage choice if you are looking for a relaxing, tranquil break.
