Description of Steadings B&B: 
Beautifully converted farm steadings, providing homely B&B accommodation in the Borders. Set in 2 acres of garden. 5m. from the Scottish border and near to Jedburgh & Hawick. The Steadings is ideally located as a stopover to or from Scotland.

All our bedrooms are of a high standard (Tourist Board / Visit Scotland insp') with en-suite bath or shower rooms and views of the stunning Borders hills. One twin room is on the ground floor and has an en-suite shower room. Guest controlled central heating, tea making facilities and TVs in all rooms. A large separate guest sitting room with log burning stove opens out onto a large patio with access to the mature garden grounds where guests can sit and children are welcome to play. DVDs, games, books, local maps and a Wii console (for children?) are all in the sitting room. All our B&B accommodation is of a high standard. Ample private parking is available. A wide choice of breakfast including a full Scottish is served in the dining room and special diets can be catered for by arrangement.
The Steadings B&B is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing break in the country, whilst only just over an hour away is Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle. We are well placed for visiting the Border towns of Jedburgh (7 miles), Hawick (10 miles), Kelso, Selkirk, and Melrose as well as Northumberland with Hadrian's wall, Kielder Water and Forest and the towns of Hexham, Alnwick and Corbridge. Also available is a spacious self catering cottage (converted granary) sleeping four people plus cot (Z-bed by arrangement) giving quality accommodation where pets are welcome.
