Description of Steadings Cottage: 
Lovingly converted former granary providing spacious self catering accommodation whilst retaining all its character and charm. Situated on a quiet minor road with plenty of private off-road parking and set in the wonderful Borders countryside with superb views from the elevated sitting room.

Beautiful cottage in rural location 15min drive from Jedburgh and 20min from Hawick. Set in two acres of mature gardens enjoying superb scenery and views. Including covered parking, barbecue, outside furniture and children's swings.
Large paddock for exercising dogs.
Accommodation comprises double and twin bedrooms, farmhouse style kitchen with 5 steps up to large sitting room,(all rooms have been completely refurnished in new solid oak) bathroom with pressure shower over bath, utility room with automatic washing machine and freezer.
Everything we can think of is provided-please let us know if you have any requests and we will do our best to accommodate.
The Steadings self catering cottage is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing break in the country, whilst only just over an hour away is Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle, we are well placed for visiting the Border towns of Jedburgh (7miles), Hawick (10 miles), Kelso, Selkirk, and Melrose as well as Northumberland with Hadrian's wall, Kielder Water and Forest and the towns of Hexham, Alnwick and Corbridge.

There is a wealth of historic attractions
within a radius of Steadings Cottage. We also have numerous golf courses, angling, mountain biking routes, and lots of beautiful walks all within a short distance. We have cycles for guests to borrow.
Just up the road is a fantastic deer and rare breeds park with falconry and much more - a great day out.
Kielder water is only a short drive through lovely scenery.
A day out in Edinburgh is recommended as it is only an hour 20min away.
