Description of The Don Bed & Breakfast: 
The Don is a family run bed & breakfast in the heart of Snowdonia. We offer comfortable accommodation in Blaenau Ffestiniog with a traditional breakfast at competitive prices. There are 3 newly decorated rooms: 2 en-suite and 1 with a private bathroom. We do have one room accessible from the ground floor with a shower, suitable to the “less mobile” guest. 2–course evening meals and pack lunches are provided on request. Special deals are available for Walkers, and also 3-day mid-week breaks (Bed & Breakfast & Evening meal (£40 pppn). We have Special Promotions over the Christmas and New Year breaks too. Dogs are welcome to visit The Don.
At The Don we hope to provide a warm welcome for you in our family home. We offer comfortable accommodation consisting of 3 rooms, 2 en-suite with stunning views to the rear of the property and 1 room which has private facilities to the front. A self service style breakfast provides cereals, fresh bread, croissants, toast, tea and coffee, followed by traditional cooked breakfast with a choice of bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and hash browns, or you can have everything! Vegetarian sausages are available. Different varies of tea and cafetieres of coffee are available too. Please ask at time of booking if you have any special dietary needs.
We cater for walkers and cyclists as well - bicycles can be securely stored in the garage area, and damp muddy clothing can be dried off! Pack lunches are also available on request.
The Don has its own licenced bar—you can have an early evening tipple or a night-cap, try the locally brewed Purple Moose Real Ale. Afternoon tea can be served in the guest lounge while you peruse leaflets and books on the surrounding areas, and plan the next day adventure. An 2-course Evening Meal is available on request. Children of any age are welcome, under 12’s at a discounted price.
Well-Behaved dogs are also welcome. Please bear in mind we do have pets (cats & dogs) and children of our own.

Local Attractions close to The Don Bed & Breakfast:
The Don is perfectly located to explore Snowdonia and North Wales. Walks of the Moelwyns are just minutes away, and the views of the mountains to the rear are breathtaking at any time of the day. There is convenient access to transport to all the local attractions, which include—the famous Ffestiniog Steam Railway, The Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Portmeirion Village, Snowdonia National Park and also access to the coast and the beach is not far away. Snowdon is just half an hour away. There is a local guide who could be arranged to take guests out on walks, both easy and hard, to show the local area to its full potential.
