Description of The Waverley: 
Stephen and Julie welcome you to The Waverley, an AA 4 STAR and Green Tourism GOLD accredited guest house recommended on TRIP ADVISOR. We are members of Deliciously Yorkshire Breakfast.
The Waverley has been offering travellers quality accommodation since it was built as a guest house in 1898. We aim to offer the best facilities available in Whitby at an affordable price. In our Bed & Breakfast accommodation we offer:
5 Double bedrooms (en suite shower) 2 of which can be family units
1 Single (private facilities)
Guest Lounge
Guest Bathroom
Off street parking for up to 3 cars and there is ample, well lit, on street parking
Non smoking throughout

The Waverley is situated on Whitby's famous West Cliff and therefore conveniently positioned for the Pavilion, promenade, beach, town centre, harbour and shops. Within a 10-15 minute stroll you can be in the old town. There are many interesting shops selling all kinds of goods from Whitby Jet to specialist chocolates, from kippers to jewellery, clothes and much more. You can also visit the world famous Sutcliffe gallery and see photos from days gone by - you can even have your photo taken wearing various clothes from yesteryear.
