A large separate guest sitting room with log burning stove opens out onto a large patio with access to the mature garden grounds where guests can sit and children are welcome to play. DVDs, games, books, local maps and a Wii console (for children?) are all in the sitting room. All our B&amp;amp;B accommodation is of a high standard.  Ample private parking is available.  A wide choice of breakfast including a full Scottish is served in the dining room and special diets can be catered for by arrangement. 
 
 The Steadings B&amp;amp;B is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing break in the country, whilst only just over an hour away is Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle. We are well placed for visiting the Border towns of Jedburgh (7 miles), Hawick (10 miles), Kelso, Selkirk, and Melrose as well as Northumberland with Hadrian&#39;s wall, Kielder Water and Forest and the towns of Hexham, Alnwick and Corbridge.  Also available is a spacious self catering cottage (converted granary) sleeping four people plus cot (Z-bed by arrangement) giving quality accommodation where pets are welcome.</description>

Accommodation comprises double and twin bedrooms, farmhouse style kitchen with 5 steps up to large sitting room,(all rooms have been completely refurnished in new solid oak) bathroom with pressure shower over bath, utility room with automatic washing machine and freezer.
