Western Isles and Outer Hebrides Accommodation

Off of the Scotland area lays an archipelago of islands, which are commonly referred to as the Outer Hebrides and the Western Isles. Although they are located outside of the Scotland area, they are still a part of Scotland, and offer the visitors that travel there some of the same, wonderful accommodations and new attractions to entertain all that come to the area.

Some of the attractions that are popular in the Outer Hebrides area are the Lewis Loom Centre. It is here that there are arts and crafts that are displayed from local artists, all of which offer their own unique spin to art. It also showcases many of the arts that are local to the area. Staying in a holiday house while in the Western Isles/ Outer Hebrides is also fun, as there are places such as the Braighe House, which is both child friendly and pet friendly. It is a waterfront location, which offers a beautiful view of the sea, as well as the seclusion of being in the countryside.

Western Isles/ Outer Hebrides Fact: There are ferries that run between the mainland of Scotland and the Outer Hebrides islands, which transports people and their vehicles to and from the islands.

Editor’s Pick: The Butt of Lewis lighthouse is a fun location to take the entire family to.
